As Apple moves to integrate AI into its upcoming updates, one must question whether this is enough from a company that has shaped the technology landscape for decades.

We always strive to build meaningful digital products that bring real-world value. And nothing has captured that mission more than our collaboration with Sit By Me, an app designed to connect people in shared public spaces while creating real benefits for local businesses.
Since launch, Sit By Me has gained remarkable traction, particularly in the US, where it’s been embraced by people and venues looking to foster authentic community.
At Sit By Me’s core, it gives users a powerful way to feel more connected in shared spaces. Transforming solitary working into social potential, and empty tables into meaningful opportunities.
It has helped local businesses drive more consistent foot traffic, increase customer dwell times, foster a stronger sense of community loyalty, and offer a unique edge in competitive markets.
We’ve seen independent coffee shops and startup spaces become vibrant hubs of interaction, simply by integrating Sit By Me into their environment. And as Brad, the founder, mentioned in our recent catch-up:
A couple of partners have jumped on and they’re seeing the value in building community. The ball is rolling, events, in particular, are driving spikes in downloads, sometimes 50–60 in just a few days. That kind of growth shows us people are genuinely excited about connecting in real life.
The user response has been overwhelmingly positive. People love the simplicity and authenticity of the app. And like any evolving platform, we’re always listening, learning, and refining. We’re continuing to work closely with Brad on dynamic improvements that will make the experience even more seamless.
It's rewarding to see how closely we've worked with Brad, not just as a service provider, but as a collaborative partner. Our ongoing relationship means that Sit By Me is constantly evolving, as we integrate more beneficial features.
Early growth of the app has been strongest in the US but Sit By Me is available globally and ready to support connection wherever it’s needed. Definitely beneficial for diverse cities and communities in the UK such as Cardiff, Manchester, Birmingham, London, or even smaller towns like Barrow or Kendal and the app can make a meaningful difference.
As someone who’s working remotely and recently moved to the UK,” said our own account manager TJ, “I’d love to see more people using it here. It’s exactly the kind of human-focused tech that helps people meet — even if it’s just over a flat white.
We’re continuing to support expansion into new US cities like Chicago, Denver and Boston, while exploring ways to encourage adoption in more global communities.
Sit By Me is a perfect example of what happens when great ideas meet the right development team and we believe in protecting the originality and thoughtfulness behind Sit By Me. This is Brad’s unique vision. It’s tech with a soul, thoughtful, intuitive, and genuinely impactful. We’re proud to be part of its journey.
